The MANTA program, hands down, has been the experience of a lifetime. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone interested in any sort of ocean study, major or not. Best experience ever! Rica Fenza, College of Charleston
I think MANTA is a great program. I learned so much and I feel like I am taking more than just some fun facts and a diving certification. I feel like I am taking away a new appreciation of the ocean and of life in general. This was the best 2 weeks of my life and I’m so grateful for it. These experiences are hard to come by, and this was well worth it. Jessica Murfree, Douglasville, Georgia
MANTA’s BVI SCUBA trip changed my life for the better by teaching me to explore and appreciate the underwater world. James Coulter, College of Charleston
This has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I have learned a lot, made great new friendships, travelled to new places and have acquired new nautical skills that I wouldn’t have anywhere else. Tori Morrison, College of Charleston
Loved the program! What an awesome way to immerse yourself in both marine science and learn to explore the frontier of the ocean by scuba. Jodi Grim
This trip exceeded my expectations coming in and I was very stoked about how much time we had to dive and enjoy the water. I also was blown away with how much I learned about the marine science topics and how readily I was able to remember that info during dives to ID coral and fish species on the reefs. Overall, this BVI trip motivated me to continue to pursue marine sciences and explore the ocean. Brendan Guthrie, College of Charleston
I’ve seen things in books and on TV I thought I would never get to see or experience, but MANTA gave me a chance to see and experience the part of the world I love. Chelsea McCurry, Summerville, South Carolina
Honestly, this was a life changing experience. This trip made me realize that I love scuba and want to incorporate it into my future career. Olivia Ahern
This was the experience of a lifetime. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! I made friends and memories I will never forget. Mira Gandhi
I truly enjoyed all that MANTA had to offer on and off the water, not only do I feel confident as a SCUBA diver, but I also feel better prepared to enter into the marine sciences as a career. Kyle, College of Charleston
